summer reading.

I have a basket of books i mean to read this summer. Even though the summer is half way through, the basket has expanded rather than shrunk. And it's not because I haven't been reading. When I first created this basket, I tried to make it a little more than I actually thought I could handle so that I wouldn't run out of material. But I have no fear of that now. With my insatiable need to buy cheap books at the Friends of the Library book sale, and Salvation Army where they're 40 cents, and The Book Cafe, the local used book shop that sells coffee, the basket has grown and grown. But some books I look forward to reading and sharing with you:

-The Life of Pi
-Faust
-To Kill a Mockingbird

I'll report back after I've been up to see my basket. There are more, believe me.
